FM104.7 And 5th Gear Skid Pan!

On Friday the 13th I was listening to the radio FM104.7. Scottie and Nige where just starting the breakfast show as Derek from 5th called to offer one free spot at the skid-pan day on Saturday. All the contestants had to do was SMS in 25 words or less a reason to why they should go. I sms’d “I have an AE86, nuff said”

Turns out my short but sweet sms scored me a spot the very next day on the Skid-pan at the TISC Driver training grounds just outside Qybn. So much for it being an unlucky day!

I had to put the car back together as it had no diff, and most of the cooling system was in pieces, I Managed to get off work early to run home and bolt an Old diff back in the car and piece together all the cooling setup.

8am Saturday 14^th June I drove out to the skid pan, I some how managed to convince my lovely lady to come along with me and take a few shots of my AE86 in action, as I’m always behind the view finder and never in front of a lens.

I took a few shots of Scotty in his calais and Nige in his "drift hetick skyline"
